Vance Joy 'Riptide' and Taylor swift's 'The Man'

Unseen-Taylor Swift-The Man The representation of the main character seems like a stereotypical dream of most men to be someone who people are jealous of, someone who seems free to do whatever they wish at whatever time. This seems like a upper class male. It's proven when the character does not have empathy for the other subway passengers because he thinks he is better than them i.e. ashing his cigar  into the old woman's bag looking impatiently at his watch suggesting he is used to faster travel.  However, there is also the stereotype of a woman wanting to marry a rich guy just for the money clearly shown in this shot when the girl doesn't kiss The Old Man and shows off her big diamond with a fake smile. Both these stereotypes seem like a representation of what women see men as (assholes) and what men see women as (something to own), Or this is used to make fun of how society represents capitalism between people of different classes.  In comparison to riptide by Vance Joy
